Throughout all of the known history of man, all cultures of all nations of all eras have always had religions and cults. All of the religions and cults were anthropocentric: formed in the image of man, interpreted by the image of man, and the invented gods themselves were given the bodies, minds, emotions, genders, and mannerisms of man.

Each and every religion and cult were believed to be the ultimate truth, and the alleged truth was given to man by an anthropocentric man-god.

Some studies of the principles of existence (i.e. Tao) began as simplistic observations of the laws of Nature, but were later perverted into anthropocentric religions by individuals of whom were unable to comprehend the principles (i.e. Tao Wu Wei)...

...No religion has yet existed that did not promise personal profit. No herds can form if there is no promise of personal profit. Wheresoever there is a promise of personal profit, herds will form...
